Next we tried the Japanese stab stitch sketchbooks. I decided for my first one that I would use two different coloured cards for the front and back. To make it we cut the front and back cover and then cut the paper a little smaller to fit inside. Once all cut we used bull dog clips to secure the pages in place and then used a dry point tool to pierce the pages to make thread holes. Then using book thread, thread it through the holes (using a needle) going around both edges of the pages and tie once you have used all of your cut length of thread.
