To start my project I have began researching more abstract artists that clearly take inspiration from the natural world for their work. Victoria Horkan is a brilliant abstract painter. Her work first caught my attention for the bright and bold colour scheme she uses in her projects. She has inspired me to take more chances and be more experimental with my own work as I love her expressive movements with the paint. Yet the brush strokes don't look heavy but still hold a sense of delicacy.
