Book binding.

Book binding has been my favourite workshop so far I didn't realise there were so many ways of making a book and how they could be used in terms of my own artwork. For example I could create pamphlets for my end of year exhibition, create my own sketchbook or present my prints.

 

First we started with the concertina book fold. I liked this as it's a more interesting way for work or notes etc. to be presented.

First measure the grey board on the book cloth you have chosen and glue in place.

 

Then fold the corners tightly and measure a 1/2 cm in and cut.

 

Glue and start to cut and fold your paper.
