Screen Printing.

I really enjoyed the screen printing induction. Creating our own prints to practice and show we can use the screen printing equipment safely and effectively. We chose to expose one of Hannah's (printing tutor) images onto a screen. We then got to practise printing the stencil allowing us to mix the paint and medium. Then we started to print I found that I pushed too much ink through the screen which led to the prints bleeding. When using the squeegee to push the ink through the screen I kept not getting the 45o angle needed so my prints didn't have enough ink. I know what to do now to create a print and hope to experiment with this process.
