I really enjoyed learning how to set up the enlarger and developing negatives properly. Firstly we were shown how to set up and use the equipment in the dark room. We had to know about the chemicals as they need to be mixed a certain way and the safety precautions. After watching Craig (dark room tutor) do a few examples and tester pieces we were asked to use what ever we had in our pockets to create our own negatives. I really liked the solid shapes created but would like to experiment using microscopic slides to enlarge them and create some interesting negatives of my own.
