| The first machine I tried was the band saw (a little scary to say the least). I wanted to cut my sketchbook into two pieces so it would be easier to handle with some of the tools. Once I had chosen where I wanted to cut it I set the machine up and did it (not so scary after all). Then deciding to take the experimentation further I started to saw into the sketchbook at different parts of the spine and created grooves of differing lengths. I liked this as it meant the book was more flexible. |
